NEW SOUTH WALES TITLES

SYDNEY, Feb. 7. (Received Feb. 7, at 9 p.m.)

At the New South Wales Rowing Championships Mosman won the Eights from Sydney and North Shore, with the former champions, Police, unplaced. The Olympic representative C. Pearce comfortably retained his sculling title. Turner was not an entrant.

THE VICTORIAN TITLES MELBOURNE, Feb 7, (Received Feb. 7, at 9 p.m.) C. Peppier, who had held the title for five years, was disqualified for this year’s race for the Victorian Sculling Championship for leaving his course. Peppier forced three other competitors off the course after about 100 yards and the field had to return to the start. The championship was won by Peppler’s clubmate, L. Purves, of Yarra Yarra. Richmond won the Eights championship from Mercantile.
