The liner .Aquitania has encountered exceptionally rough seas in the mid-Atlantic, which, according to the statements of masters of vessels arriving in English ports, have been as severe as any experienced for many years past. The Aquitania is a day late in consequence of the storm. The foremast and part of the wireless apparatus of the Norwegian steamer Tilthorn, which arrived in the Thames from Vancouver, was carried away in the Atlantic storms. The boats and gear were damaged, and part of the deck cargo of timber was washed overboard.
