SAMOAN OFFICIAL
VISIT TO DOMINION NO SPECIAL SIGNIFICANCE (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 6. No special significance is attached to the departure of the Acting Administrator of Samoa (Mr A. C. Turnbull) for New Zealand. The Prime Minister, Mr Savage, said to-day that Mr Turnbull was merely on furlough, and his visit was not connected with the appointment of an Administrator. He would, however, discuss the Samoan position with Mr Turnbull. During Mr Turnbull’s absence the chief medical officer (Dr P. J. Momhan) will act as Administrator.
