A DISQUIETING FEATURE \ ULCERS ON BOTH LEGS VATICAN CITY,'Jan. 6. (Received Jan. 7, at 2 a.m.) The Pope’s condition is unchanged. He had a fairly restful night, but a disquieting feature is that painful varicose ulcers have formed on both legs. His entourage is withholding current news, as reports of strife and bloodshed distress his Holiness. The newspaper Stampa’s Vatican correspondent says the Pope will probably not leave bed again, and the Eucharistic Congress at Manila may have to be postponed.
