QUARREL AT A PARTY
MR AND MRS BARRYMORE HOLLYWOOD, Jan. 4. (Received Jan. 5, at 11.45 p.m.) John Barrymore filed a revocation of the power of attorney given to his bride, Elaine Barrie, following a quarrel which is reported to have started at a New Year’s Eve party due to her desire to make a stage appearance against his wishes. Mrs Barrymore disclosed that they were at present living apart, but expressed the belief that it was only a temporary estrangement. “Our tiffs can’t be conducted in privacy like, those of other couples.” she said.
