YOUNG BOY DROWNED
FALL INTO SWIMMING POOL TRAGEDY IN SCHOOL GROUNDS (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 21. While playing in the grounds at the Marsden School in Karori, Frank William Penhey, aged 11, fell into the private swimming pooL belonging to the school and was drowned. Apparently the boy and another of about the same age were trespassing on the school property, and as the pool is among the trees and hidden from the school buildings they were not noticed. When his friend saw Penhey in the pool he gave the alarm and the staff of the school did the best they could to save the boy. He was brought out of the water, and artificial respiration was applied oy members of the staff and by a doctor, but proved unavailing.
