AMATEUR STATUS SURRENDERED OFFERS FROM FILM COMPANIES CLEVELAND, Nov. 20. (Received Nov. 22, at 6.30 p.m.) Jesse Owens, the Olympic champion, stated: "I have forsaken ideas of running as an amateur again. The kinema offers I have received are too tempting to throw aside."
