EXPROPRIATION IN MEXICO
THE SENATE'S APPROVAL
MEXICO CITY, Nov. 19. (Received Nov. 20, at 5,5 p.m.) With the Senate having approved, only President Gardena’s signature is required to make law of a measure expropriating private property “ for better distribution of wealth.’’ This law gives the President authority to distribute many large holdings to landless peasants. Foreign property, however, is not expected to be affected.
