DRAMATIC ENTERTAINMENT
The entire net proceeds of the dramatic entertainment to be held in the Concert Chamber to-night will be handed over to a Citizens’ Committee, of which the Mayor is the chairman, as the nucleus or a special fund, the details of which the Mayor will explain during one of the intervals in the programme. The plays which are being presented are all of exceptional merit, and have proved popular in many drama festivals, and each society can be relied upon to do full justice to its particular play. The committee in charge of the entertainment has full confidence that the programme will make an instantaneous appeal, and that the public will be eagerly awaiting another such event in the future. The doors will be opened at7.lsp.m„ when all seats, other than those w'hich have been reserved, will be available to the public at the lower price.
