ORDER FOR NEW LINER
SISTER SHIP TO QUEEN MARY
FOUR TENDERS SUBMITTED LONDON, June 0. The Shipping World states that an order is being placed soon for a sister ship to the Queen Mary. Four firms have already submitted tenders. If the contract is placed on the Clyde it is understood that the other shipbuilding districts will bo compensated with naval contracts, as the Admiralty will be shortly ordering from private, firms two battleships, three cruisers, an aircraft carrier and a number of auxiliary craft.
