TWO DAYS’ LIBERTY
SAMOAN STOWAWAY RECAPTURED
(Pkk United Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 10. After two days’ liberty the half-caste Samoan stowaway who escaped from the Aot'uiigi op AJonday was apprehended in Queen street by u constable. The man stowed away on the motor ship Cape York at Apia, and was landed from that vessel at Vancouver. Later, he was put on board the Aornngi at Vancouver to be deported lo Sydney, where he was to be transferred to a steamer going to Apia. When the Aorangi arrived at Auckland on Sunday the man was not confined to his‘cabin, and on Alonday afternoon be disappeared from the vessel, which sailed for Sydney the same night. The stowaway will be brought before a magistrate this morning, and arrangements will be'made to deport him to Apia via Sydney, probably by the Alonowai, which will leave for Sydney on Friday.
