AUSTRALIA AND JAPAN PROPAGANDISTS CRITICISED MELBOURNE, June 9. An appeal to all interested parties to keep out of the ring and allow the negotiations with Japan to have a reasonable opportunity of success wan made by Mr Lyons, speaking at Westbury, Tasmania. “We arc now for the second time negotiating for a friendly arrangement concerning textiles, permitting such quantities of artificial silk and cotton piece goods to enter Australia from Japan as the Government had in mind when the new duties were introduced,” lie said.
