“TITANIA’S PALACE”

to r:iE editor

Sirt, —As there will not be very many more opportunities for the public to inspect Titnnin's Palace, I would like on behalf of the Crippled Children's Society to express to you our thanks for your invaluable assistance in bringing before the public the charms of that wonderful work of art in miniature. Through the agency of Rotary this miniature palace has been displayed throughout the Dominion in order to supplement the funds of the society. It has been exhibited with great success in the north, and record figures were attained in Christchurch. Naturally we are anxious to see this record equalled or beaten in Dunedin, in this way sustaining our reputation for generosity to worthy objects. The press has been most generous to us, and by its agency we hope that the many thousands who have already viewed this unique work will be largely supplemented during the few days which remain.

The exhibit is on view in the premises of Messrs Arthur Barnett, Ltd., who have most kindly lent their millinery salon for this purpose, and to those who have not yet visited the palace, may I say that not only are they in danger of missing a unique opportunity, but of aiding the work of a society whose objects must appeal to every normal person? The school children are now being catered for, and I have no doubt that our object will ultimately bo obtained. —f am, etc., F. W. Mitchell, President, N.SL Crippled Children fDunedin branch), Incorpd. June 0.
