AUSTRALIA’S FIRST INNINGS FINE DISPLAY BY CHIPPERFIELD (United Press Association) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) DURBAN. March 16. With no wickets down for 30 rims, the Australians resumed their first innings against Western Province and scored 398, giving them a lead of 200, runs. Chipperfield returned to form and played a delightful innings, occupying 134 minutes for 103 not out. Sievers also gave an entertaining display in scoring 59.
