AUSTRALIAN FRUITS
NEW ZEALAND EMBARGO SYDNEY, March 17. Representatives of the Australian fruitgrowers have asked the Minister of Commerce (Mr H. V. 'l’horby) to make a fresh effort lo have the New Zealand embargo against Australian fruits lifted. They pointed out that the Dominion was now importing citrus fruits from other countries. Mr Thorby replied that the Government would again ask the New Zealand Government to admit fruit certified free from disease.
