PUBLIC APPOINTMENTS
ANNOUNCEMENT THIS WEEK [Pee United Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 10. It was mentioned by the Prime Minister, Mr Savage, to-day that final decisions had not yet been made regarding the appointment of two public service commissioners, a new Administrator of Western Samoa, and two Government nominees on the directorate of the Bank of New Zealand. “In all probability,” Mr Savage said, “we will be able to make an announcement some time this week about several of the prospective appointments mentioned. Many names have been submitted for consideration, and all that is required now is to make the final selection.”
