BOXING THE ROSS-CARKOLL FIGHT. (United Press Association) ißv Electric Telegraph —Copyright i SYDNEY, March 16. Mr Jack Monro, manager of the National Boxing Club, had a telephone conversation with Mr Sam I’ian, manager for Harney Ross, in America. It was then learned that, although Jack Carroll desired the forthcoming fight should be fought under the banner of Mr Charles Lucas, Ross is anxious that the fight should be staged under the auspices of the National Boxing Club, of Sydney. Ross is prepared to conic to Australia in April. He will certainly not wait for a November fight.
