WOOLLER A HERO
A message from Wales states that the Cohvyn Bay Council passed a resolution expressing admiration of the part played by their fellow-townsman, Wilfred Woollen. in the recent international Rugby match between Wales and New Zealand. Proposing the resolution. Councillor T. A. Hughes said there bad been nothing more exciting in the realm of sport than the last-minute run of Wooller’s which gave Wales a sensational victory. “ That afternoon 45,0<K) delirious Welshmen would have presented him with the City Hall,” said Councillor Hughes, “ but Woollen himself had the charm of being modest. We are proud that he is a product of a local school, and proud of him as a great athlete and a great sportsman.” An engrossed copy of the resolution is to be presented to Wooller.
