ST. LEONARDS SCHOOL
SUCCESSFUL FLOWER SHOW The St. Leonards School’s first annual flower show was held on Saturday in King George’s Hall and was an outstanding success. The exhibits were numerous and particularly in the arts-and crafts section were of a very high standard. The various stalls and competitions were well patronised by the large attendance. The school/funds will benefit materially and will be used in modernising the school. The winners of the raffles were:—Afternoon tea tray, Mrs Pryde (St. Leonards): cushion. Mrs Davis (Burkes). The drawing of the model yacht has been postponed until April 14. The School Committee is indebted to the following judges: Vegetables and flowers, Mr J.
