The retirement of F. D. Kilby, cxNew Zealand and Wellington Rugby football captain, is referred to ns follows in the annual report of the Wellington Football Club: “We compliment him on the unique tributes paid him at the end of last season in recognition of his brilliant career as player and sportsman. Members of the club took the opportunity, at a social function, of showing their appreciation of his services to the club and (o the game.”
