METHOD OF NATIONALISATION THE GOVERNMENT’S INTENTIONS OTTAWA, March 14. (Received March 15, at 7.30 p.m.) The Minister of Finance has given notice that the nationalisation of the Bank of Canada will bo carried out by an increase in the capital stock from 5,000,000 dollars to 11,000,000 dollars with the purchase of an extra 6,000,000 dollars of shares by the Government, ensuring that it will have control. Mr Graham Towers will continue as governor with the Government appointing a majority of the directors.
