ALLEGED FRAUD
FORMER BOXER ACQUITTED BUENOS AIRES, March 13. (Received March 14, at 0.30 a.m.) Luis Firpo, a former contender for the heavyweight boxing title, was acquitted by the court to-day on a long pending charge concerning a fraudulent real estate transaction. After his indictment the boxer fled to Uruguay, where he grew a dense beard for disguise and remained in hiding for several months. Tiring of exile he returned to face the charge and won vindication.
