Sib, — To save the expense of an election the anti-Labour section of the St. i Hilda Borough Council did not nominate rival candidates, but the Labour Party took u« all by surprise in that, though of the two candidates for the seat on the council only one was officially the candidate of the Labour Party, the other was practically a Labour representative. Consequently anti-Labour, electors could pot vtote against' 'Labour*. Many such struck out both names a a a protest. The Labour Party’s policy appears to be Get your man in by fair means or unfair means, but get him'in.” As an elector, I protest against this unfairness. —I am. etc.. St. Hilda Elector.
