EXEMPTIONS FROM UNEMPLOYMENT LEVY
TO THE EDITOR Sir,— May I draw your kind attention to a regrettable omission from the list of exemptions from levies, printed at the end of the unemployment coupon levy booklet? I refer to the cases of aged, sick men over 65 years of age, on superannuation allowances not exceeding £3 a week. The fact that an aged and sick man is nursed at ,hie own , home by his wife and family seems all the more reason why he should be exempt from unemployment levies —the same as a patient in, a hospital, whose levies cease. —I am, etc. Invalid Expenses. Christchurch, March 0.
