GOOD TEMPLARY
The annual meeting of Dunedin District Lodge, International Order of Good Templars, was held on Thursday evening last. Sis. Mrs Giles. D.C.T., presided, and there was a good attendance of representatives from the subordinate lodges. Reports were submitted by the District Chief Templar, the District Superintendents of Educational Work, and the District Superintendent of Legislative Work. Several members addressed the meeting, referring to the great necessity for continued aggressive work, the increased number of convictions of intoxicated motor drivers, and the loss of life caused by some of these drivers. The election of officers for the new term resulted as follows:—D.C.T., Sis. Mrs Giles; D.V.T.. Sis. Mrs Leishman; D.S.J.W.. Bro. J. Hilton: D.S.E.W., Sis> Mrs Hazelwood; D.S.L.W.. Sis. Mrs Gain; D.S., Bro. W. lies; D.T., Sis. Mrs Morwood: D.M.. Bro. A. Rackley; D.G. Sis. Williamson: district organists. Sisters Morwood and Robinson.
