Dunlevey'a stable has been named William, not William T. Jack Potts Four-Year-Old Queen High is a beautiful mare. She is well mannered, and a perfect pacer. She is a member of M. B. Edwards s team, and is owned by Mr A. Lowe, who drove her in the Maiden Pacers event at the matinee meeting at Addington. She shot out of the barrier, and did her work like a 100 per cent, racehorse. She is a classy looking four-year-old by Jack Potts from Pleasant Wave, who is also the dam of Dalmeny and Dalmahine.

New Derby's Breeding New Derby's time of 2min 2£sec registered at Perth is confirmed by Australian exchanges. Evicus went only hall a second slower. New Derby is a nine-year-old stallion by Globe Derby from New Zealand Greta, a 1913 mare bought in New Zealand by Mr A. G. Hunter, ot Seymour, Victoria. In New Zealand the mare raced as Greta, but on entering her in the Australian Stud Book it was necessary to make a distinction, as another Greta (dam of Lulu Boy) was already registered. It is interesting to note that New Derby was one of the last trotters or pacers bred by Mr Hunter, this celebrity being sold with his dam when a few months old for the sum ot 80 guineas. Mr L. J. King, of Quambatook, Victoria, was the buyer. New Zealand Greta's dam never raced, but produced a good pacing gelding in Attwood, who raced both in Sydney and Melbourne. New Zealand Greta was a winner in New Zealand, but her record of 2min 13sec was not made in a .contest. New Zealand Greta was by Wildwood Junior (dual New Zealand Cup winner) from a Prince Imperial mare.
