CENTRAL MISSION
To cope with the increasing activities of the Methodist. Central Mission, which is directed by the Rev. L. R. N'calc, th« reeent conferenee appointed two additional members of the staff, a probationer minister (the Rev. B. M. Tusker ) and a deaconess (Miss Kippcnbcrger). who will conimcnec duties in Diinedin earlv in April. At a meeting of the mission officials held on Wednesday evening sincere appreciation of the work being done by Mr Xoale was expressed, and a motion of thanks .and confidence was passed unanimously.
Mr I). ('. Cameron gave an interesting report of the recent conference in Christchurch, and informative reports of their work in the city were given by Sisters Hazel and Lenna.
The Company Hay camp and Children's Home is' proving a great boon to many families, and the completion of tho buildings is being steadily proceeded with, and visitors will be welcome to inspect the property and buildings at any time.
