FORESTERS

At the fortnightly meeting of Court Excelsior, No. 6128, the chief ranger. Bro. M. M. Minn, presided over a good attendance of officers and members. A welcome was given to the district judges. Mr Thompson and Mr Nelson, by the chief ranger, who expressed the hope that they would find satisfaction with the conduct of the court's work during the evening. The reports showed that three members were on the funds. Mr W. L. Bennett was welcomed as a new member to the court with the usual ceremonies, B.ro. Simmons extending the Foresters' welcome. Reports on the visits to Court King Edward's Pride and Court St. Andrews were received from members, who had enjoyed the visits to sister courts. A decision was reached to open the court next meeting at 7.30 p.m., some members being of the opinion that since next meeting marked the anniversary of the court the business should be commenced earlier. After the meeting an enjoyable hour was spent playing the fourth series of the euchre games for the Thompson Cup.
