MELBOURNE SERVICE
ARRIVAL OF THE MARAMA LARGE PASSENGER LIST From Melbourne, via Milford Sound and Bluff, the Union Company’s steamer Mararaa arrived at Dunedin shortly after 7 a.m. yesterday, and was berthed at the cross wharf to land passengers and discharge cargo. The trip across the Tasman was pleasant, and the passengers were afforded an opportunity to view the scenic attractions of Milford on Sunday morning. When the Manama left Melbourne she had on board 300 passengers, which was the largest number carried since the service was inaugurated this season. As the ship was delayed in discharging cargo yesterday owing to rain, her departure for Lyttelton, Wellington, Bluff, and Melbourne has been postponed until 6 p.ra. to-day. i The passenger list was as follows: — Embarked at Milford Sound: Mr G.
