MORE WOOL FOR JAPAN
PURCHASES IN DOMINION TOKIO, November 29. Mr Debuchi (who was a recent visitor to Australia and New Zealand) said that it was expected that Japan would buy over 800,000 bales of Australian wool this season, instead of 700,000 as hitherto, and was also likely to double its purchases from New Zealand. Mr Debuchi pointed out that Australian purchases of Japanese goods were steadily increasing, and added that business relations could not be brighter.
