WRESTLING
CHEUNG v. WALKER George Walker, who claims the British Empire Championship, is booked to make hi* first appearance in Dunedin this season next Wednesday. His opponent will be Wong Buk Cheung. Wong is a greatly improved wrestler, being stronger and much heavier than when he was in New Zealand last season. These two men met in Palmerston’North on Thursday last and press reports received state that Walker secured a dubious decision ever Wong. The return bout should be interesting. The match is being staged by the South Island Amateur and Professional Athletic Club, which has been staging bouts elsewhere with great success The club was offered several opponents for Walker, but after due consideration Wong was selected.
