RICCARTON TRACK WORK

(Per United Phess Association) CHRISTCHURCH. November 5. Training work at Riecarton this morn--ing was done in fine weather. The outside of the course proper had dried up well after last week's rain, and it provided good going, though it was a little dead. There was plenty of useful galloping, without anything spectacular. Knockfin, beginning very fast, soon drew out from Cranford in a five-furlong spin, which she ran in Imm 2 2-ssec, while Cranford was not ridden out, being several lengths back.
