THE NANKING OUTRAGE
SHOOTING*OF CHINESE PREMIER ASSAILANT IDENTIFIED NANKING, November 2. (Received Nov. 3, at 5.5 p.m.) Mr Wan" Ching-wei’s assailant has been identified as Sun Ming Hsun, an ex-sergeant of the Cantonese Nineteenth Route Army. A preconceived plan was indicated by the fact that the assailant was not a newspaperman, but secured the status of a journalist sonfe weeks ago. Ten arrests have been made, including two who surrendered and a woman ex-Communist. Wang is reported to have a chance of recovery, and his assailant of surviving.
