PROFESSIONAL BOXING
REEVE DEFEATS O’BRIEN (Per United Press Association) PALMERSTON N., November 3. Harold Reeve (Pahiatua) beat Maurice O’Brien (Dunedin) in a professional bout at Pahiatua on Saturday night. Reeve knocked out the New Zealand middle-weight in the second round with a short right arm punch to the jaw. Though short, the bout was torrid while it lasted.
