PORT CHALMERS NEWS
FIRE BRIGADE INSPECTED The Port Chalmers Fire Brigade and the plant was inspected on Friday evening by Mr R. Girling Butcher, Government inspector of New Zealand fire brigades. Mr Butcher also gave an interesting lecture on fire fighting, and dealt with numerous technical points in connection with operating the fire engine. There was a large muster of the brigade under Superintendent C. M'Donald.
