“THE CIRCLE”

NEXT REPERTORY PRODUCTION It would be unwise to reveal the denouement which marks the “ curtain ” in Somerset Maughan’s brilliant comedydrama “The Circle,” which will be staged by the Repertory Society in His Majesty’s Theatre for a season of four nights, commencing on Wednesday, November 13. It need only be said that it is an unusual yet entirely understands able outcome of the forming of the “ eternal triangle.” The situations in this essentially modern social story are frequently tense and not infrequently witty. The dialogue is clever, but never too much so to be natural, for the human aspect is always prominent. The members of the cast are enthusiastic and the production should be one not excelled by any amateur performance to date. The production is in the hands of Miss Bessie Thomson, and the stage manager is Mr T. C. Wynne. The cast includes Mrs John Hamer, Misses Dorothy Clark and Dorothy Scoular, and Messrs Desmond Grecnsladc, W. R. Brugh, Douglas Dali, Ken Palmer and C. W. G. Patterson. The box plan arrangements are advertised.
