SYDNEY WOOL SALES SYDNEY, October 31. (Received Oct. 31, at 11 p.m.) At the wool sales 12,030 bales were offered and 11,004 sold, while 3240 were privately disposed of. Japanese competition was particularly active for medium and ordinary fleece wools, whilst Yorkshire spinners and the Continent competed strongly for deeper grown better class fleece. ' Bidding for faulty lines was irregular. Greasy, merino made to 22Jd.
