—_— *», SETTLEMENT IN AUSTRALIA RESUMPTION PROBABLE ADELAIDE, October 31. (Received Oct. 31, at 9.30 \>.m.) The Premier, Mr R. L. Butli r, revealed in an interview to-day that definite proposals were likely to be submitted soon by the British Government for resumption of migration to Australia. Britain is expected to make a generous offer for financing the settlement of selected migrants in the Commonwealth. He pointed out that the British authorities fully appreciatec 1 ■ the fact that schemes would have to be mutually beneficial, but before anything could be -lone complete investigation of future proposals was necessary.
