Dunedin, wishes to know (1) how' to get rid of freckles on the nose and forehead; (2) how to prevent freckles when out in the strong sun for a day without a hat on. (1) Take loz of lemon juice. quarter of a teaspoonful of powdered borax, and half a teaspoonful ol sugar. Let the mixture stand for a few days in a glass bottle, and then • apply at intervals to the _ affected areas. Another remedy is equal parts of lemon juice, peroxide, and boracic lotion. (2) There are preparations advertised in our columns for this need.
