Sir, —With reference to two letters which have appeared in your columns, wherein it has been claimed that the Plunket Society is supporting a political candidate, my executive desires me to give an emphatic denial to any sueh statement and to reassure the public that, under the management of to-day, the Plunket Society is as strictly non-poli-tical and non-sectarian in precept and principle as it has always been. —I am, etc., Owen G.
