WORKERS' FAMILIES

STANDARD OF NUTRITION STUDY BY COMMITTEE GENEVA, October 27. (Received Oct. 28, at 5.5 p.m.) The International Labour Office has decided to appoint a committee to study the standard of nutrition of workers families. It includes Professor Catncart, who holds the Chair of Chemical Physiology, and other expert dietitians from Russia and the United States, and experts on the standards of living and family budgets. The British workers' delegate feared there were too many experts on the committee. It was generally agreed, however, that the committee's investigations would be a valuable supplement to Mr Bruce's campaign for better nutrition.
