WAR PAINT PRINCIPLE WINNER (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 26. The Auckland Trotting Club’s spring meeting was opened at Alexandra Park, Epsom, to-day in showery weather. The track was in good order, and there was a fair attendance. The totalisatoj: handled £13,404, against £16.081 on the opening day last year, a decrease of £677. Waskasu came home first in the Waitcmata to return his backers a big dividend on the win machine.
