DEBUTANTES PRESENTED

BALL AT GOVERNMENT HOUSE A BRILLIANT SPECTACLE (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 20. Thirty-one debutantes from as far south as Ashburton and as far north as Napier, were presented to their Excellencies, the Governor-General and Viscountess Galway, at the ball held at Government House, Wellington, last night. The occasion was one of great brilliancy, the many beautiful frocks and the vivid uniforms of the members of his Majesty’s various services making a gay and animated scene in the large white and gold ballroom. Between GOO and 700 guests were present.
