VALUATION WORK
GOVERNMENT INSTITUTE FORMED ELECTION OF OFFICERS (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 25. At the conference held in Wellington of representatives of the various Government departments whose duties comprise all classes of valuation work it was resolved to form a New Zealand Government Valuers’ Institute for the purpose of promoting and maintaining the confidence of the public for an interchange of ideas and information, within the institute and with kindred organisations, and securing uniformity of action and attaining the maximum degree of efficiency amongsj, members. The following officers were elected: — President. Mr N. H. Mackie (Palmqrston North); vice-presidents—Messrs N. Eggleston (Christchurch), G. L. Ewen (Feilding), and A. W. A. Sweetman (Auckland); secretary, Mr W. G. Boswell (Palmerston North); treasurer. Mr T. H. Brosbic (Wellington).
