“10,000 UNDERNOURISHED CHILDREN”

j TO THE'EDITOR. Sib, —In the Otago Daily Times of last Saturday I asked Dr M‘Millan, Labour candidate for Dunedin West, to give us some details of his statement at a recent public meeting in Dunedin that “in any case the figures showed that 10,000 children were undernourished ” in New Zealand, He has not done so; therefore would you permit me, Sir, to ask him again to supply us with some particulars. Dr M'Millan’s statement is a reflection on the people of the Dominion. It is either true. I take it, or it is not true, so why should Dr M'Millan be reluctant to supply the information? He made the statement. Surely Dr M'Millan is not developing into a “ hit anfl run ” artist. — I am, etc., Propaganda.
