ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
FRACTURED LEG James Brown, aged 73 years. iv.i« admitted to the Hospital at 8.20 last night suffering from a fracture of the right leg. The accident was caused through a fall on the footpath in Maelaggan street. INJURIES TO HEAD Margaret Buchanan, aged 50 years, was admitted to the Hospital at 10.30 last night suffering from injuries to her head. She resides at 304 Cumberland street. STRUCK BY TREE A BUSHMAN KILLED. (Per United Press Association) TATITAPE, October 24. A bushman named Cyril Newman Moody, aged 25, a married man with nno child, was killed to-day when a decayed tree fell and struck him while working in the bush at Mataroa. At the inquest a verdict of accidental death was returned.
