CRICKET COACHES
ARRIVAL BY RANGITIKI
(Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 23.
Among the arrivals by the Rangitiki to-day were the cricketers Badeock (Otago coach), who is going to Dunedin, Merritt (East Lancashire), who is going to Christchurch, Dacre (Gloucestershire), who is on a holiday visit to Auckland, Townsend (the Auckland coach), and A. E. Alderman (Derbyshire), who has been engaged as coach by the Waikato Cricket Association. The collective opinion is that the English team is a promising combination of young players who should provide attractive cricket and who should te the equal of the best teams in New Zealand.
