(Received Oct. 23, at 1 a.m.) The New Zealander Jack Horner won the Ascot Colaban Handicap to-day from Speardale and Nissa. W. Jenkins rode the winner. Cape Race was unplaced in the Hurdle Handicap, Hopedale was last in the Juvenile Handicap, and Perfect Idea was second in the Trial Handicap, being beaten by a head by Chamundi. Whernside was unplaced in the Ascot Handicap. Master Briefly is still lame.
