NAUTICAL MISHAP
RECENT COLLISION NEAR TIMARU MAGISTERIAL INQUIRY PROBABLE. (Per United Press Association! WELLINGTON, August 25. The Minister of Marine, Mr J. G. Cobbe, stated yesterday that it was probable that in addition to the preliminary inquiry already held there would be a formal inquiry under the Shipping and Seamen Act before a magistrate and two assessors into the circumstances of the collision between the motor ship Breeze and the fishing launch Bessie nine miles south of Timaru early on the morning of August 16.
