THE LADY SOUTHERN CROSS SATISFACTORY TEST FLIGHT LOS ANGELES, August 23. After a complete overhaul Sir Charles Kingsford Smith gave his plane, Lady Southern Cross, a test flight, and expressed pleasure at its performance. He hopes to take off for New York on August 29. From there he will ship the plane to England, hoping to start for Australia on October 15. IMPERIAL AIRWAYS SERVICE LONDON, August 23.
